Costa Rica

This, little Central American Republic, is the place of the coffee lovers hope to go to. It is a place of growing superb coffee, in the Meseta Central, a high altitude central plateau with mild temperate climate and good moisture and cool nights, covering about 2000 square miles. With the rich volcanic based soil, ports o two oceans, stable organized, and commercially oriented government. And of course, the geography makes the transportation difficult and causing the coffee being expensive.

All you can find in this country are the all washed arabica beans and native drinker that drink twice amount from the Italian drinker. Probably it is because that the coffee of Costa Rica is almost always very fragrant, sharp with tangy acidity, clean and pure flavor and taste so exquisite, and the sharpest acidity could give a wonderful mild flavor when the coffee is added with a little milk or cream. Despite of the Costa Rican dark roast coffee bean, which spoils the acidity, you should give more directive of roasting Costa Rican coffee bean before you order the bean from Costa Rica. Mostly labelled by the area such Tarrazu's Tres Rios, Dota, San Marcos, or by the owner such FJO Sarchi company.
